Fans of the New York Knicks are telling President Donald Trump , who previously considered New York as his residence, was advised to "remain at home" rather than go to Game 3 of the NBA Finals versus the San Antonio Spurs on Monday evening, as per a recent report.
MS NOW's Laura Haefeli Talked to multiple Knicks supporters in New York on Sunday following the announcement that the team's viewing event was called off due to Trump attending the match. The Knicks, working together with the New York Police Department and the Secret Service, chose to cancel the gathering, planned to take place close to Madison Square Garden. Rather, the celebrations will occur in Central Park and Brooklyn, far from the venue.
Fans of the Knicks who communicated with Haefeli voiced their disappointment and confusion regarding the choice to discontinue the viewing events close to MSG.
Please, Mr. Trump, remain at home," stated a Knicks supporter. "Don’t bring bad luck to my Knicks; never again within the next century will anyone named McDonagh support Republicans. It’s similar to how we’ve been voting Democratic since the 1950s.

"Take pleasure in being in New York. Appreciate the arena. Avoid causing excessive disruption, and let's focus on what truly matters, which is Knicks basketball," another spectator remarked.
Getting into this block will be nearly impossible," said another fan to Haefeli outside of MSG. "A lot of these fans are going to have to walk a long way just to get inside. It'll be tough for them to make their way in. But you understand? This is necessary to ensure everyone stays safe inside. I see where they're coming from. It's definitely going to be inconvenient for many people trying to get in.
The New York Knicks hold a 2-0 advantage over the San Antonio Spurs. Game 3 is scheduled for Monday at 8:30 p.m. ET.
