Pauline Hanson Rages at Grinning Channel Nine Reporter Demands Apology for 'Stupid' Question

Pauline Hanson has criticized a young female journalist shortly after previously labeling a journalist as a "nasty b****" and removing media personnel from One Nation gatherings.

A member of The One Nation party had an altercation with 9News Perth journalist Sophie Fenna on Wednesday when she confronted Hanson in the luggage pickup section of Perth Airport and posed several inquiries.

"Why didn't you take Gina (Rinehart)'s jet?" Fenna questioned Hanson, mentioning the Cirrus G7 private aircraft that had been given to her by Mrs. Rinehart at the end of the previous month.

Hanson exhaled with what seemed like irritation as Fenna grinned and asked another query.

Did you travel in economy class?

A male member of Hanson's group was overheard referring to Fenna's question as "stupid" prior to Hanson reacting aggressively.

"I won't be responding to your foolish inquiries," Hanson stated.

Gain some authenticity as a reporter and acquire respect.

Fenna looked clearly surprised at Hanson's reply and didn't pose any additional inquiries.

The group of Hanson is currently requesting an apology from Fenna.

"This explains why traditional media has lost significant public trust," stated a representative from Hanson.

From what I understand, the young reporter involved has not yet offered an apology to Senator Hanson.

According to her 9News biography, Fenna obtained a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on public relations and marketing, as well as a postgraduate certificate in broadcasting from Edith Cowan University in 2024.

She served as a journalist for 7News in Cairns following her graduation, then came back to WA this year to work with 9News.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Fenna for a response.

The conflict isn't the first instance where the party head has targeted the press.

The Guardian Australia has been prohibited from attending upcoming One Nation gatherings and media briefings following the publication of images that made party leader Pauline Hanson look more "menacing."

The party head additionally removed ABC reporters from a media event prior to the Farrer by-election in May.

The head of staff for Hanson, James Ashby, was captured on video escorting ABC local reporters away from a political rally.

In the very same month, Hanson was filmed referring to a woman as a 'nasty b****', shortly after her male media adviser instructed a female journalist to 'be quiet'.

A One Nation representative named Barnaby Joyce has supported Hanson's choice of using a private jet, even though this move faced backlash from the Albanese administration.

He remarked, 'I am constantly confused about why traveling at the expense of taxpayers is considered ethically acceptable, yet doing so with a supporter's money justifies an unpopular cause.'

Joyce claimed that lawmakers often encounter continuous pressure from lobbyists during regular airline trips, using his personal encounters as support for opting for private aviation.

"I have never been on a flight where someone requested something from me, unless I was seated beside them on Qantas," he stated.

But it seems that even if you're seated beside someone, regardless of how securely you've placed the headphones on your head, they still feel compelled to speak to you about their desires.
